From 11 to 13 March 2019, the WARREDOC center co-organized and participated to the MOXXI 2019 International Conference at New York University in collaboration with the Citizen AND Hydrology (CandHy) working group of the IAHS, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), the HydroHub, and the Consortium of Universities for the Advancement of Hydrologic Science, Inc. (CUAHSI).
The conference aimed to bring together several researchers, users and developers of environmental monitoring instrumentation to discuss how to overcome obstacles to the progress of hydrological observations and the operation of innovative hydrometric technologies and monitoring approaches.
The event was a forum to share the latest developments in areas such as sensor technology, information systems, participatory monitoring and consideration of the main challenges faced by those providing operational hydrometric monitoring services in the public and private sectors.
