The UNESCO HERITAGE SITE CROWDMAPPING COMPETITION awardee ceremony took place during the presentation of the United Nations World Water Development Report 2016 on “Water and Jobs” at the prestigious Sala di Notari in Perugia. Over 32 participants compete to map not only the beauty and cultural heritage of a recognize UNESCO heritage site but also the inherited risks caused by natural or human-related activity and the social media experience. The best three projects received a Special Professional Certificate together with a 1-year professional license of ESRI ArcGIS Software.
