On July 13th, 2020 the Organizing Committee of the upcoming 2021 Summer School “Advances in Extremes In Water Science” organized an online half-day workshop aimed to introduce the Summer School.
During the workshop, the participants were able to hear about what is exciting in extreme event research from the three lecturers on “Advances in Extremes in Water Science”, Simon Michael Papalexiou, Ilaria Prosdocimi, and Richard Vogel.
They provided some vision in the field and opportunities of interactions. More information can be found on the page of the event.
