Italian Agency for Environmental Protection and Research (ISPRA) and WARREDOC jointly participate in the European Geosciences Union 2020. The event – initially scheduled for May 2020 in Wien (Austria) – is being held online due to the pandemic of COVID-19. The participation contribution is focused on the integration of Citizen Science tools, open and big data into Decision Support Systems (DSS) in water management and environmental fields.
Furthermore, the WARREDOC center participated to the EGU conference with the following scientific contributions:
- Volpi, E., Annis, A., Nardi, F., & Fiori, A. (2020, May). Is hydraulic modelling parametrization the major source of variability in flood hazard assessment? Insight into hydrologic uncertainty and the role of design rainfall in probabilistic flood maps. In EGU General Assembly Conference Abstracts (p. 19385).
- Castelli, F., Annis, A., & Nardi, F. (2020, May). Testing the use of crowdsourced data for supporting post-event understanding and simulation of flooding impacts in ungauged basins. In EGU General Assembly Conference Abstracts (p. 19858).
