The 2020 International Summer School on “Extremes in Water Science” POSTPONED to july 2022

The 2020 International Winter School on “Extremes in Water Science”, initially scheduled for July 2020, considering the COVID pandemic, was further postponed to July 11^th – 15^th 2022. For information on the  summer school goals and lecturers,  go to the Winter School page.

All prospective students, that pre-applied or contacted us, have been informed by email. On behalf of Keynote Lecturers, of the Scientific and Organizing Committee we thank you all for the interest and patience. Our goal is to have the School in presence while guaranteeing your safety and health.

Meanwhile, if you’d like to have a “taste” of the School, you can check the virtual meeting, that was held Monday 13 July 2020, titled “A TASTE OF EXTREMES IN WATER SCIENCE” . The event included an ‘ice-breaker’, in which students and Keynote Lecturers had a chance of getting to know each another, followed by a series of short seminars anticipating the topics of the School.  You can visit the web page of the virtual event where video recordings and presentations are also available.
